Apprentice Exchange

...following on from the huge success of last year’s Apprentice Exchange pilot which found five Q Guild member business apprentices sharing and developing commercial and product knowledge and hands-on practical skills with their French counterparts in and around Lyon, we are now looking to broaden its scope.

In short, do you have any members of your team - from apprentice to middle manager with skills ranging from counter sales to carcase breakdown to pie making - who you think would benefit from a couple of days to a week or so in a fellow Q Guild member's shop?

We will collate the data and assist in partnering up businesses.

[Note: to help contain costs, the French trip allowed for participating apprentices to host their counterparts who, in turn returned the hospitality in kind. We recognise this is not always possible - as such, arrangements will be by arrangement between participating businesses]
