Another strong showing for Q Guild members at Great Taste 2025

Five Q Guild members - Aubrey Allen Ltd, Lidgates Butchers, Lishman’s of Ilkley, Nicholson Butchers and Cranstons Quality Butchers Ltd. - have received Great Taste accolades at this year’s Guild of Fine Food Awards.

Aubrey Allen Ltd enjoyed a particularly strong year, securing a 3-star award for Maple Cured Pork Rib Eye, 2-star awards for Traditional Pork Pie and Wyndford Wagyu Pastrami, and 1-star accolades including Gluten Free Cotswold Sausage and Lamb Merguez Sausage.

Lidgates Butchers, with an extensive history of Great Taste success, added a 2-star for Home Cured Streaky Bacon alongside 1-star awards for Regenerative 45 Day Aged Prime Rib Steak, Chilli, Fennel & Garlic Sausage and Thai Green Chicken Curry.

Lishman’s of Ilkley earned a 2-star for Yorkshire Nduja, adding to their previous recognition for Air Dried York Ham.

Nicholson Butchers received a 1-star for their Pork, Jalapeno and Smoked Cheddar Sausage, adding to their list of award-winning sausages.

Cranstons Quality Butchers Ltd were recognised with a 1-star for Cumberland with Mango and Ginger, complementing their previous Great Taste wins for products such as Cumberland sausage with Black Pudding and Traditional cooked ham on the bone.

Judged by over 500 food experts, the Great Taste Awards are one of many platforms where Q Guild members showcase their skill.
