BANKS'S BREWERY SAUSAGE IS LAUNCHED
An award-winning Wolverhampton butchers has teamed up with a renowned local brewery to create a very special product.Robinsons Butchers, located on Tettenhall High Street, and Banks’s Brewery have joined forces to create the Banks’s Beer Sausage, which will be launched as part of UK Sausage Week.
Infused with Banks’s Amber Ale, a deep golden ale offering a blend of hoppy flavours and fruity overtones, this meaty creation is a true celebration of local heritage. Made and sold in Robinsons, the sausages will be available to purchase from the 1stNovember 2018. Each pack of sausages will also come with a voucher which enables them 10% off a Banks’s Brewery tour.
The collaboration comes as part of UK Sausage Week, which runs from the 29thOctober – 4thNovember and is all about promoting the great british banger.
Steve Robinson, owner of Robinsons Butchers, said, “UK Sausage Week is all about celebrating the best of British sausage and traditional local produce. What better way to mark the occasion than bringing together the undefeated combination of beer and sausage whilst also incorporating our local roots.
“It’s really exciting for us to be able to collaborate with other local businesses and we look forward to seeing what customers make of our new creation!â€

Both Robinsons and Banks’s Brewery are long standing businesses within Wolverhampton, having both been established in the city for over 100 years. During this time, Banks’s Brewery has acquired several pubs and breweries, growing to become one of six Marston’s Breweries across the country. Robinsons has also grown to become a prominent business in Wolverhampton, winning a multitude of accolades including several of the prestigious Smithfield Awards.
