A tremendous evening for Q Guild at last night’s NCB-hosted British Butchery Awards at the Nottingham Belfry. The Awards ceremony, celebrating craft businesses the length and breadth of the country, found Turnbull’s Northumberland Food Hall taking the North of England (Large) Award with Derbyshire’s very own Owen Taylor & Sons picking up the Wholesale & Catering Award. An worthy standing ovation also for Scottish Craft Butcher Executive Manager & Q Guild’s Secretariat Gordon King on being awarded a Special Recognition Award for all his hard work for the benefit if our industry in general and the development and encouragement of craft apprentices in particular. Well done all!!!
