Derbyshire's Owen Taylor and Sons bring home Britain's Best Meat Pie category with their Steak and Ale Pie.
No stranger to the awards circuit as testified by their burgeoning trophy room in Derbyshire’s town of Alfreton, Owen Taylor and Sons’ Managing Director Robert Taylor picked up Britain’s Best Pie Award with their Steak and Ale Pie at the Meat Management awards ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole co hosted by Broadcaster, actor and former England international rugby star Martin Bayfield. Robert Taylor said he was “thrilled to acct the award…this is a tough industry but the passion for hard work and what we do is valued time and time again”.
