Meat Management Awards 2024 take in Q Guild members from England, Wales & Scotland
Organisers of the 2024 Meat Management Industry Awards have revealed all four spots for Butchers of the Year have been taken by Q Guild members together with finalist listings for with Best Pie, Best Free From and Best Charcuterie and Best Poultry product.
We are delighted top advise that Q Guild members Aubrey Allen (Leamington Spa), K& J Green Butchers (Chorley), Mettrick's Butchers (Glossop) and Neil Powell Master Butchers (Abergavenny) have each been reached final selection for this years coveted Butchers Shop of the Year title. Finalists in the product categories include Owen Taylor & Sons (Alfreton) with their Steak & Ale Pie, Pastrami and Gourmet Chicken products, C Lidgate (Holland Road, London) with their Gluten Free Kiev and House of Bruar (Blair Atholl, Perthshire) "House of Bruar Steak Pie" all vying for position. Publisher of Meat Management magazine, who organise the awards, Graham Yandell MBE commented: "“Our finalists are, as ever, well deserved, and it will be a pleasure to announce who has won at the ceremony next month. Of course, the winners are not pre-informed and will only find out if they have won on the night".
