Q Guild member Lishman’s of Ilkley add to their Trophy Room
The Q Guild members Lishman’s of Ilkley team each had a spring in their step following last week’s Meat Trades Journal National Awards ceremony in Birmingham with Dales winning the North of England Butchers Shop of the Year 2023 Award.
Lishman’s major shop refurbishment of 2022 combined with what the judges’ highlighted as their ‘commendable’ work in the community earmarked them as worthy winners in what is always a hard fought-battle amongst UK butchers.
Finalists for this year’s Awards ceremony included Q Guild members Cranston’s butcher + maker, Aubrey Allen with Nicholson’s of Whitley Bay’s Kathryn Hay one of just three finalists vying for the 2023 Trainee of the Year. A huge "well done to all" who took part!
