Ellisons Butchers

We are an established traditional butchers in Cullingworth, West Yorkshire. We pride ourselves by sourcing the best quality British meat from local farms. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver from farm to plate and knowing each step of that process.

We have three parts to the butchers:

Retail pies, hot sandwiches cooked meats.
Retail fresh meat
Wholesale fresh meats which we deliver to local businesses, such as Pubs and Restaurants.

30 years ago Ellisons Butchers was founded by Paul Ellison, the shop is situated in Cullingworth, a small village with a growing population of 2750, we are 7 miles west of Bradford and 4 miles south of Keighley. The surrounding countryside is mainly used for sheep and cattle farming.

Ellisons Butchers is still run by Paul, now along with his brothers John and Brendan. The shop has 2 more full time staff, as well as 8 part time staff who all work together to help the Ellison name continue in its success.

Ellisons are very proud to be members of the Q Guild of butchers for the last four years.

Purveyours of Fine Foods

At Ellisons we are proud of our meat and where it comes from.

Johns Brother has a farm at Embsay near Skipton, all our beef and lamb comes direct from the farm. The beef cattle are Limousin cross Angus, all beef if matured before sale.

Our pork is free range and supplied by Honey Pot Farm at Wilsden, just a few minutes drive from the shop. Anabel and John Sugden are just 5 miles away at Laycock and for the last 20 years have provided us with our superb

Christmas turkeys.

When you visit our shop you will see we have a ready to eat section, as well as our retail fresh meat. We sell pies, hot sandwiches and cooked meats. Why not try one of our pies which are all prepared on the premises, along with our sausages. We cook all our own meats and also dry cure our own bacon.
