Thomas Johnston Quality Butchers
Thomas Johnston, Quality Butchers, established in 1861 by the Great-Grandfather of the present day business partnership - Richard and Graeme Johnston. The original Thomas Johnston was succeeded by his sons Thomas and Alex, and Alex`s sons Thomas and Richard, and now Richard`s sons, Richard and Graeme. For the past 145 years the business prospered in Falkirk, Brightons, Dunfermline, Abbeyview and Oakley.
The hallmark of each and every business is quality. This was borne out when in 1999 at the Dorchester Hotel in London, sponsored by the Meat Trade Journal, Thomas Johnston won the Top Shop Award for Scotland`s Best Butchers shop and the same year won the Top Shop Award for Britain`s Best Small Butchers Shop.
