We believe in selling only the finest Meat and Meat Products, which is why we produce so much ourselves, including our own multi award winning dry cured bacon, sausages and burgers, pies and pasties, faggots and home cooked meats.

Barrett Brothers has always been a family business. Our family has run the business since 1982 and we have seen four generations working in the shop, three of them at the same time.

We have always placed local, quality and presentation as our highest priority in selling meat. This principle has taken us far throughout the years. Now with so much attention from the public and media for only safe and the best, we know that our objectives have been the right ones.

All our beef, lamb and pork arrives at the shop in carcass form and is prepared on the premises to the highest standards by our very skilled butchers who have well over 100 years experience between them. All beef is matured for at least three weeks ensuring it is at its best when it reaches the table.
